Less than 2 weeks to go until NWoP 2026!
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.Psalm 127:1 (NIV)

Dear Leaders, Churches and Partners in Prayer,
We are now less than two weeks away from the National Week of Prayer 2026 – 10-18 October! Across the British Isles, churches, ministries, organisations, schools, workplaces, families and individuals are preparing to pray. What began as a spark in 2024 continues to grow into a nationwide movement of united intercession, and we are full of expectation for all the Lord will do as we Gather where we are, Remember the good things God has done and will continue to do, and Return to Him, this October. As the week approaches, we want to make sure you have everything you need to take part, pray with us, gather others, mobilise your local churches, and help spread the word.
Join us for Daily Prayer during NWoP
A central part of NWoP over the last two years has been our Daily Prayer Meetings, each day praying over one of the Ten Spheres of influence so we can see social transformation. We are delighted that these powerful and strategic prayer gatherings are returning for NWoP 2026, once again led by friends and prayer partners working within these spheres, sharing intelligence on how to pray across the nation. The daily midday prayer meetings will be held online, making it possible for people across the British Isles and beyond to join together in prayer. They will also be available to catch up through our YouTube channel. We will send the necessary access links to you in the next few days. Join us each day as we stand together in prayer for our nation.

Find a Gathering – or Register Your Own
Every gathering matters. Whether it is a prayer walk, a night vigil, a workplace gathering, a school assembly, a citywide event, a prayer breakfast, or simply a few people praying together in a home – each gathering contributes to the nationwide canopy of incense rising from the British Isles and beyond.
Hosting something during NWoP ‘26?
Please register your gathering on the website – this helps us make visible the oneness we are building across the nation and enables others in your community to gather together with you and prayerfully trust Jesus for societal transformation.

The Full Ten Sphere’s Podcast Series is available
This podcast was created to help those wanting to hear constructive input on how to engage in informed and effective prayer for the key areas of our society. Each episode focuses on providing intelligence from each sphere, with context, biblical reflection and guided prayer to help us intercede with faith and purpose.
Whether you are praying on your own, with your family, small group, work colleagues, prayer partners or church, we encourage you to listen, share widely and use these resources to stir prayer in your communities as we prepare for NWoP.
YouVersion Bible and Prayer Plan – available soon
Our NWoP YouVersion plan is available to help you pray throughout the week. You’ll find it on the YouVersion Bible app when you search under prayer plans. We expect the 2026 updated version to be available just as the week begins.
Use the plan individually, with your family, small group or church as we turn our attention together towards Jesus, putting our hope in Him for national transformation and praying for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done across the British Isles.

Resources to Equip You
We have gathered resources to help churches, leaders, prayer groups and individuals participate fully in the National Week of Prayer. Visit the resources page on the NWoP website to find helpful prayer resources including prayers for Rural Britain, neighbourhoods, schools and the Nations.
Help Us Spread the Word!
If you are a church, ministry, organisation or NWoP partner, we would love you to encourage your local crew to repurpose a prayer meeting you may already have in the diary, to pray in solidarity with us all during the National Week of Prayer, that the UK would return to the King of Kings (Zechariah 1:3)
Our Partners’ Media Folder contains social media assets, design materials, the Bear Grylls promo video, and Ten Spheres Podcast snippets which you can use to promote NWoP messaging through your social channels, church comms and local networks. Please download what you need, share widely and help invite people across the British Isles to pray.
As we approach NWoP ‘26, thank you for standing with us!
The John 17:21 oneness, faithfulness and courage we see across the British Isles is a sign of what the Lord is doing in our day. We believe He is preparing us for a significant moment of returning to Him.
‘Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Saviour. Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, God of Jacob. Lift up Your heads, you gates; be lifted up you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is He, this King of Glory? The Lord Almighty – He is the King of Glory.’
Psalm 24:3-10 (NIV)
Let’s continue to prepare our own hearts ahead of the NWoP, invite others, and pray with expectation. Look at what the Lord is doing!
With every blessing over you and your household,The National Week of Prayer Organising Committee
